General rental conditions
Article 1 - RESERVATION
Reservation conditions : The acceptance of the rental contract in the form of a digital or paper signature implies the adherence to the present general conditions without any restriction.
The following services are included for each reservation:
- the reception of the customers which is assured.
- the supply of household linen during the stay
- cleaning of the premises (a complementary cleaning service is proposed by the owner on simple request of the tenant)
For all reservations, a deposit of 50% must be paid at the time of confirmation of the reservation by check or bank transfer.
The balance must be paid at the latest 30 days before the handing over of the keys.
Cheques will not be accepted after 30 days before arrival. An identity document is required for any payment by check.
The sum equivalent to 50% of the total amount of the stay will be requested or taken by the establishment at least 30 days before arrival.
Reservations will only be considered firm upon receipt of the deposit.
We remind you that the decree 2015-741 of June 24, 2015 limits cash payments to 1000€ for French residents and 10000€ for foreign residents. An identity document will be requested for any payment over 1000€.
The client must specify the exact number of people planned for the stay.
If the number of clients exceeds the authorized capacity, the owner will refuse the additional persons on arrival.
Any modification or breach of contract will be considered at the initiative of the client.
Our friends the animals are not allowed.
Conditions of cancellation :
In case of cancellation or modification between 15 and 30 days before the date of arrival the establishment will charge the amount corresponding to 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
In case of cancellation or modification less than 15 days before the date of arrival the establishment will charge 100% of the total amount of the reservation. The same applies to no-shows.
Non-cancellable and non-refundable rates are subject to a total pre-payment at the time of booking.
Article 2 - THE STAY
Duration of the stay :
The tenant(s) signing the present contract concluded for a determined period, will not be able to take advantage of any right to maintain in the rented places at the end of their stay. Any occupation exceeding the fixed time limits will give rise to additional invoicing.
The villa on the day of arrival from 16H30 and must be vacated by 11H00 at the latest on the day of departure mentioned in the contract.
Inventory of fixtures :
The accommodation is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, bedding, sheets and towels. It is expressly forbidden to use the beds without the sheets.
A report of the state of the premises and an inventory are given to the tenant(s) on arrival.
On arrival, the tenant(s) must check the inventory and the state of the premises as well as the proper functioning of the household and sanitary appliances. In high season, the affluence and the lack of time, do not allow the lessor to carry out this control with the tenant(s).
Consequently, any breakage, degradation or lack, not noticed by the owner or his representative will have to be announced in the 24h following the arrival of the tenant.
After this period, the responsibility of the tenant will be definitively engaged.
Article 3 - INTERRUPTION OF THE STAY
The customer will not be able to claim any compensation or refund if he shortens or interrupts his stay for any reason whatsoever, including strike, medical repatriation and other cases of force majeure.
Transfer of the contract:
The eventual transfer of the rental contract can only take place with the written agreement of the owner.
The transferor and the transferee of the contract will be jointly and severally liable to the owner for the rental price.
As no insurance is included in the rental price, we advise you to take out a personal "cancellation insurance".
Article 4 - DEPOSIT
A security deposit of 900 € per villa will be required on the day of the handover of the keys. A bank card imprint compatible with the new 3D Secure standards will be requested as a security deposit.
If the inventory of fixtures and the inventory of fixtures do not reveal any problem or that no particular cleaning is necessary, provided that no deterioration or hidden degradation has been noted, it will be returned to the tenant at his departure or within a maximum of ten days after the departure, if the immediate restitution is impossible.
The following conditions will apply:
The occupants are deemed to have received the villa in perfect condition and provided with the movable goods listed in the inventory given to them on their arrival.
If the inventory of fixtures and the inventory at the end of the rental period show any anomalies, the owner and the tenant will have to agree on the amount to be deducted from the security deposit. If the deposit is insufficient to pay the sums due by the tenant, he/she commits himself/herself from now on by signing the present contract to pay the possible overruns. The damaged goods will be re-invoiced at the replacement price without application of the obsolescence.
At the time of departure, the tenant(s) are obliged to leave the villa in the same condition as when they arrived, with all the furniture listed on the inventory.
The house must be left free of any rubbish on return of the premises. Cupboards and refrigerator emptied of all food.
The state of a kitchen and/or dishes will be considered as missing or damaged if they cannot be used by the next tenant(s) without special cleaning work. The amount of this cleaning work will be deducted from the security deposit.
Any lost key or remote control will be charged 50 €.
The tenant(s) is (are) invited to take out civil liability insurance to cover any damage that may be caused.
The tenant(s) is (are) invited to check with the insurer of his (their) main residence the quality of the "holiday" risk cover incurred as a result of the present contract. A certificate of insurance may be required upon arrival.
Article 5 - PROHIBITION OF LENDING OR SUB-LETTING
Sub-letting, lending or changing residents is not permitted, except with the express written agreement of the Lessor.
Article 6 - COMPLAINTS
Any possible complaint during the stay must be reported immediately to the lessor so that he can solve the problem as soon as possible. The tenant(s) will not be able to claim any compensation in case an urgent repair has to be done inside the villa. The breakdown of a household appliance or other and the delays sometimes necessary to obtain the intervention of a technician or the supply of a part do not give right to any particular compensation and are to be considered as incidents of the same nature as those which can occur in the personal residence. The owner will ensure that any incident is resolved within a reasonable time.
The nuisances related to the maintenance of the green spaces at the Villa Chandra will not be able to in no case to be the subject of a complaint giving right to compensation. We will however ensure that these tasks are carried out as discreetly as possible.
The wifi network put at the disposal of the tenants free of charge can be subjected to slowdowns or disturbances of flow, of various and varied origins (breakdown of the access provider, saturation of the telephone network, climatic conditions etc...), preventing sometimes the connection or the surfing in a satisfactory way.
The owner cannot be held contractually responsible in any case.
If the owner or his representative is not notified before departure, the stay will be considered as having been successful and no subsequent claim will be taken into account.
Article 7 - SECURITY, TROUBLES, NUISANCES, THEFT
The accesses to the Villa Chandra are done by a motorized gate opening with a remote control. The installations in particular the swimming pool and equipment of the rented villa must be used in accordance with their destination and under the whole responsibility of the tenant(s).
Use of the swimming pool : take all necessary precautions for a safe use of the installation in particular in the presence of young children whose supervision must be constant in spite of the provision of an alarm or a safety barrier.
We remind you that it is forbidden to run, push or dive. The pools are not supervised.
Any deterioration of the premises or destruction of the furnishings of the villa, automatically engages the responsibility of the tenant(s). This also concerns the persons who stay or the visitors.
The tenant(s) is (are) responsible for any disturbances and nuisances caused by the persons staying in the villa. When a resident disturbs or causes nuisance to the other residents or harms the integrity of the facilities, his stay may be terminated immediately and without compensation, without prejudice to any claims for compensation that the owner and third parties may have against him.
Reminder: Article 1394 of the Civil Code stipulates that the client is solely responsible not only for the damage caused by his own act, but also for that caused by the act of persons whose
is caused by the fact of the persons for whom he is responsible, or the whole of the goods (cars, luggage, cameras, jewels, money, etc.) that he has under his care. It is therefore up to him to take the necessary measures concerning them. In no case can the lessor be held responsible in case of theft of personal belongings both in the villa and in the parking lot.
Article 8 - DISPUTES AND APPLICABLE LAW
The present General Conditions will be executed and interpreted in accordance with French law.
Any recourse will be, in the absence of amicable agreement, of the exclusive competence of the
courts in whose jurisdiction the rented property is located.
The fact that any clause is illegal or inapplicable due to a law, a regulation or following a final decision of a competent jurisdiction, shall not call into question the validity, legality or applicability of the other stipulations of the present General Conditions and shall not exonerate the Hirer from the performance of his contractual obligations.
The hirer is advised to take out travel cancellation insurance.

The cleaning is included in the price of the rent which also includes the allotment, the supply of the household linen and the reception of the customers. Depending on the length of the stay, the owner will have to readjust his basic price.
The tourist tax is included in the price of the rental.
