Villa Chandra (formerly the Bastide Valmasque guest house) is a country house for rent in Biot on the French Riviera.
Our villa, a few minutes from Antibes and Golfe Juan, has 5 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and air conditioning. Our house can accommodate up to 11 people (4 double bedrooms and 1 triple bedroom).

We are ideally placed for visiting the hilltop villages of Provence and the beautiful beaches of Cap’Antibes and the French Riviera.

Recently, we added a beautiful 4x10 m swimming pool with an electric protective curtain. In the garden also a traditional pétanque court and a yoga space .

  Prima locatie, huis is heel goed ingedeeld - drie ruime of heel ruime kamers, twee gewone kamers . Maar allemaal met wc en badkamer wat heel praktisch is. Heel goed ingerichte keuken met alle benodigdheden . Op gelijkvloers geen airco, slaapkamers wel allemaal airco. Tuin is heel groot met allerlei leuke plekjes, zwembad is ok qua grootte, allemaal perfect onderhouden ! Communicatie was heel goed en heel hartelijke ontvangst door Philippe .   We love Villa Chandra! Have stayed 2 times. The house is full of charm and we love it! We will come again, and will recomend it highly.
Biot is s nice, small town and has a very nice Michelin restaurant,
Philippe is so nice and has saved us at least 2 times over 5 days. He goes above and beond to make sure we are ok. Hes a great guy! Hope to see Villa Chandra and Philippe again soon!

  Beautiful house and property with lots of space and amenities to enjoy for a large group of people. Very close to Biot and Antibes for easy access to restaurants, groceries, beaches, and shopping. Phillipe was a wonderful host who was very responsive and attentive to our needs, and helped guide our visit to the region. Wonderful stay and house is as advertised.

  We had a great time with the family in Biot. A great place to relax and spend time with the kids in and around the house, especially in the pool. The house is spacious with plenty of room and equipment to house a large number of people. The location is great if you plan to visit Nice, Antibes, Grasse, etc. Also Biot is a nice village to spend some time or have some food. All in all a great place to spend your holiday.

  We had a wonderful time at villa Chandra. There were 9 of us ; 4 adults and 5 older teenagers) and it always felt spacious. All the rooms have their own bathrooms and the a/c was perfect as it was very hot. The local area is fantastic with so much to see and do. Phillipe and Claudia were very nice hosts and easy to contact if we needed anything. We would love to return and would definitely recommend this house. Thanks for a wonderful holiday .

  Claudia and Phillip deserve the title of super host ´. From the time of our arrival to our departure, they have been extremely helpful and kind. They even helped us finding professional care for our son suffering with stomach flu. The check out was smooth and extremely friendly. Their property is as good as the pictures. Lots of room to enjoy; the superb back yard with a good size of pool, lots of lounge chairs...And the house itself is plenty big for a party of 9.  And the AC in each bedroom is a great plus.

  We enjoyed a wonderful time at Villa Chandra, which is a beautiful villa well equipped with all the amenities we needed. Philippe and Claudia are very gracious hosts and have taken a great deal of care in decorating and outfitting the spot. We were three couples, each with a young child, so the fact that each room had its own bathroom was exceptionally helpful. The pool and surrounding area are lovely and we spent a great deal of time there, though the villa is well located between Nice and Cannes (and a variety of other lovely little towns), so it was always a difficult decision whether to stay put and enjoy the space, or venture out further afield. Thank you both for a lovely stay and for sharing your little piece of Paradise with us!

  Claudia and Philippe's villa is majestic! We just finished our 2 month stay for work and felt this was our home away from home and perfect for our family. The villa was huge, pictures matched the reality, uniquely styled to tell Claudia and Philippe's story and character and enormous yard for our boys to play in. But what was really special was the hospitality Claudia and Philippe showed to our family. They greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of their place, instructions on how to operate everything, suggestions for shopping centers and restaurants and welcomed us into their home like we were family. This villa, along with their personal touches make this the ultimate 5 star accommodation. Thank you Claudia and Philippe! We also rented the Studio Agonda - that too was a great, self-contained studio that was perfect for us.  It was big, had all of the necessary amenities, and Claudia and Philippe were very responsive to any of our needs :-)  Stay at this amazing Villa or Studio!
